The Melbourne Celebrant
Celebrating your love
Weddings are about more than just a dream dress, your grandmother’s face in the front row, the first dance that makes you cry. That’s the window dressing. At the heart of every wedding is a love story big enough to make someone trust someone else with the rest of their life. As a celebrant, I celebrate that story—your own beautiful one—and help make your day joyful, spiritual, memorable, fun and personal.

I'm Stephanie Clark. Stef. The Melbourne Celebrant.
In my life I’ve prioritised being inclusive, compassionate and generous. As a celebrant, I bring those qualities to my work. Quick things to know about me: I’m a sucker for love, from chick lit flirtations to royal weddings and my own parents’ decades-long marriage. My professional executive background in communications and media means I’m an expert at public speaking and getting my message across clearly. I’m a designer dress tragic, I’ve run half marathons and I always look at the partner standing at the altar, not the one walking in, when I’m a wedding guest. Yes, I can tell you why when we meet.
There’s a reason I’m one of the few celebrants who only does weddings. No name days, no funerals, nothing other than the pure, unadulterated incredible ride of an occasion that is a wedding. It’s because I’m a specialist who ties together the unique ‘why’ of your love story with the paperwork and detail that means you’re legally married.
Creating a bespoke wedding ceremony that reflects your love and history is a privilege. Bringing my own creativity, meaning and authenticity, I work with you to deliver exactly what you want.
My mission? For you to feel that I’m a friend you fully trust, which allows for a relaxed, happy setting where everything that happens is as it should be. With my guidance, I want you to feel both comfortable and excited. I want your family and friends to feel included in their role of cheerleaders. Because it’s your day. We’re there to make beautiful memories for you.
